ATS Acoustics Putty Pads are a more affordable, easy to use acoustical putty on release paper for use around junction boxes. Wrap all boxes in acoustically rated walls with ATS Acoustics Putty Pads in order to maintain the highest STC ratings. Works in all designs including single and double stud, RC, clips, and QuietRock walls. Price shown is for a box of 10 pads. Each pad is 6" x 8" x 1/8" thick. For smaller projects, we also offer smaller 10-packs of ATS Acoustics Putty Pads.

Application Tips
These acoustical putty pads are typically used to seal the openings where wires enter electrical boxes. Cover all or most of the electrical box inside the wall with the pad. This increases the sound isolation of the wall assembly by eliminating leak points. They can also be applied to other places sound would leak through, such as where wires or pipes penetrate surfaces in the wall construction.
