It can be a challenge to build professional-looking acoustic treatments for a home theater setting. If craftsmanship is your thing, go for it, don't let us discourage you. But if you'd rather have professional looking acoustic panels from the box to your walls in minutes, our ATS Acoustic Panels might be for you.

Some churches save as much as possible by building their own acoustic treatments using low cost materials like Roxul Mineral Wool or Rockboard 60. This can be a very affordable way to go. Keep in mind, you'll probably need to build wood frames to protect the edges of the acoustic material, fabric to cover the surface, and a back or other method for attaching them to the wall. Our 48x48 and 48x96 custom size acoustic panels might be a viable alternative.

These raw materials can be used for a variety of noise control projects. Owens Corning 705 is a good material for lining enclosures to reduce noise coming from a motor or other equipment. Rockboard 60 is a great product for general sound absorption at a reasonable price.
