Order ATS Acoustics brand 3-pound Rigid Fiberglass Acoustical Board in a Case of 6 pieces on this page. We’re excited to offer our own brand of this popular acoustical material with identical quality at a cost savings to you.

Dimensions are: 24" x 48: x 2".

This rigid fiberglass material is a more economical, yet exact substitute for Owens Corning 703 2". Sound absorption, density, appearance, and physical properties are virtually identical. The only differences are: 1) this material is slightly lighter in color than 703, and 2) it is somewhat softer, that is it compresses somewhat more easily than 703.

Try ATS Acoustics 3-pound Rigid Fiberglass Acoustical Board Single Pieces to reduce waste.

These insulation boards are a popular product in sound absorption projects. Typically, they are covered with fabric and mounted on the walls in a studio, control room, or listening room.

For more detailed information, see Selecting the Right Acoustic Material for a comparison of these materials.

Customer Comments

This is my two-channel listening room. The room was very noisy. The panels helped reduce reflections which warmed up the high frequencies and seemed to have improved the bass as well.
