Application Tips
These acoustical putty pads are typically used to seal the openings where wires enter electrical boxes. Cover the all or most of the electrical box inside the wall with the pad. This increases the sound isolation of the wall assembly by eliminating leak points. They can also be applied to other places sound would leak through, such as where wires or pipes penetrate surfaces in the wall construction.
