What a difference!
Aesthetically the room feels warmer.
Acoustically the room plays more naturally. It is a paradox to experience that within parameters, the more you do to "deaden" the room...the more "alive" the source sounds. Bass muddiness has been greatly reduced in movie mode...and the musical sound stage is phenominal. Make no mistake about it, with the right room and the right equipment and the proper treatments...you can hear a difference.
