ATS Acoustical Recycled Cotton Denim Acoustical Batts are a soft-touch alternative to fiberglass or mineral wool acoustic insulation. The natural cotton fibers are 100% recyclable and are made from at least 85% post-industrial recycled content, making them ideal for LEED certified projects. Contains 15% PET plastic fibers to bind the cotton fibers together. Much softer and more pleasant to work with than fiberglass. ATS Acoustics does not recommend this material for use in applications requiring a fire rating.
This product has a density of 2.5 pounds per cubic feet, with a variance of +/- 0.5 pounds due to the natural fiber.

The actual dimensions of each batt are 24" x 48" x 2". Note: These are soft batts made from a natural material. Thickness can vary +/- 0.5 inches. Please account for this in your measurements if the thickness of the material is important to your project.
